I love the idea of seeing books and genres on a map. In the case of the genres. In this new series I’ll be mapping out the books I read to learn more about where I read the most about, and to challenge myself to read more widely around the world. I also want to map out the genres that I read. I know the genres I think I tend to gravitate the most, but I think it’ll be fun to see that mapped out and categorized more completely.
On my birthday last year I set myself a challenge to read one book from each year of my life. Since it’s not looking like that’s going to happen by this year’s birthday, I am giving myself an extension. Here are the books that I have read so far.

When trying to decide on a blogging topic, I kept coming back to the idea that travel and reading might actually work as partner topics. The more I thought about it, the more I started thinking that, if travel and reading were connected for me, they might be connected for others too.
